As part of the completion of the Tim Russell Community Medical Centre, Educaring Africa has teamed up with Rotary's Donations In Kind (DIK) facility in West Footscray, Victoria to ship donated medical and school equipment to Malawi. With the shipping container to remain at the site of the clinic in Malawi permanently, Educaring Africa organised for the container to be placed on Harbour Esplanade in Docklands for a week in April 2019, where artists transformed it into a work of art. Led by principal artist Tamirat Gebremariam, the project attracted a lot of interest, with some members of the public even grabbing a brush or spray can to join in. Funds raised through the initiative will help fund the shipping and logistics costs involved in transporting the container to our friends in Malawi. To donate:
